Pregnancy Test

Why take a pregnancy test?

If you think you may be pregnant, the first thing to do is take a pregnancy test.

There are many signs of pregnancy that may alert you to the possibility you might be pregnant like nausea, a late or missed period, or swollen, tender breasts. The only definitive way to know whether you’re pregnant, though, is by taking a pregnancy test.

A pregnancy test is scientific and conclusive because it detects the hormone hCG in your blood. Your body only produces this hormone if you’re pregnant. If it’s there, the pregnancy test will reveal two pink lines letting you know for sure.

Free pregnancy tests

We offer free pregnancy tests at Pregnancy Matters. A client advocate will be with you as you administer the test yourself. She will also be with you to consider your results.  Call or walk-in services are always available.

You can take a pregnancy test as soon as you know you’ve missed your period, as it will detect the hCG hormone right away. All of our tests are medical-grade to provide the greatest accuracy.
